Multi-modal transportation: Means transport of cargo from one country to another by means of minimum two different vehicles with different legal systems under the liability of one person who is called a multi-modal transportation agent.
Sea transportation: Is the most important mode of international transport which is one of the most suitable modes of transportation thanks to the transportation of a large volume of cargo and also its economical aspects.
Land transportation: Is the second mode of transportation after sea transportation at the international level which is divided into two groups:
• Road transportation
• Railroad transportation Air transportation: This mode accounts for the lowest percentage of transportation in Iran, and light, expensive and perishable cargos are usually carried by airplane.
